Ideas and update on the photo op

I've posted some ideas under Old Time Day's comment but I thought I'll make a new post.

On Oct 24. We went to the camera op in Hutto. We did took some stills, interviewed Sg.Pauletto, Congressmen Carter and some other ppl.

I kinda visualized a lil on the 'storyline'.

First, we'll cue some great patriotic pictures (flags, soldiers marching) and music.

Second,a picture of city of Hutto's sign that says "population 1250" or something like that if I'm not mistaken. This is to show that there are a lot of patriotism in the small town.

Then, we put all footage/interviewed of events that we've covered and ends with the football game so that we'll show a lot of energy and enthusiasm from the ppl in Hutto.

Then, CG "Hutto supports our troops" follows by 1-4 ARB Attacks"
Okay! This is only the rough cut that I have got. Feel free to comment and suggest any ideas that you might have. Thanks

Hutto "Old Tyme Days" a success

All - I was able to get a lot of good photos and did 4 interviews for the project. The festival seemed prety good as Hutto came out in full force to support the troops. I was a little scary as this was my first attempt at interviewing and I forgot the questions that I had practiced. All in all it was a great experience and I look forward to seeing all of the people that I met today next week at the football game. I am going to try and post some photos that I took and will try and share a lot more in class. See ya on Monday!

Ideas?

So I know that we're planning on focusing on the Hutto events, but does anyone have any ideas about maybe how to spice it up a bit?

I thought about maybe having a coloring "contest" for the FRG kids where we could post the colorings on the web when they were done. I'm not sure how we could work it into film, but maybe we could get some stills of the kids and their colorings or something.

Let me know what you guys think.
